The workshop is at 44 Filotheis, in the Paralimni industrial zone, and the Vrachimis family has run it since 1976. Drivers from Frenaros, Deryneia, Sotira and the villages around them bring their cars here for MOT preparation, a service, or a proper diagnosis when a fault keeps coming back.

One thing to be clear about: the MOT test is not carried out at our workshop. The car comes to us and we send it to our partner MOT centre, where the test itself takes place. If you would like it inspected before the test, ask and we will do it, so any weak point is found here rather than by an inspector; if the car is with us for a service anyway, it is inspected as part of that service. Should it fail on something, we repair that item and take the car back to the centre for its re-test, which saves you a second trip in from the village.

If you drive a hybrid or a fully electric car, you are welcome here. We have the diagnostic tools for both, our technicians are trained for high-voltage work, and they use insulated tooling. The small 12V battery is checked on every hybrid and EV that comes in, because a weak one can stop the high-voltage side from switching on at all.
We run several electrical services under one roof: tracing warning lights and intermittent faults, repairing wiring looms, programming and recovering ECUs and gearbox control units, diagnosing module faults, and CAN network diagnostics. The diagnostic tools we use cover every brand — Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar and Lamborghini among them. Whatever the make, we measure the fault before we suggest replacing a part. Servicing in the off year helps keep small faults from piling up into a long fail list at the next test. Along with the service we scan for warning lights and sensor faults, look over the electrics and run an A/C leak-sniff and performance check. The car goes home with a complimentary exterior clean.

Our station recovers and weighs the old refrigerant, holds a vacuum to prove the system is sealed, and recharges it to the factory weight. You get the vent temperature and pressures on a printout, and the same service is open to hybrids and EVs.

English, Greek and Russian are all spoken at the workshop. Once the car is with us we diagnose first, send photos and short videos of what we find, and put a free written estimate in front of you. No work starts until you have approved it, and the car is road-tested before you collect it.
Every one of our 12 ramps is in use. With more ramps and more staff on the workshop floor, our aim is to get your car seen to quickly. For major work that keeps your car with us for longer, a courtesy car is available.
We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 19:00. Diagnosis is led by Anninos Vrachimis, who holds a BEng and an MEng in Automotive Engineering from Teesside and trained in Mercedes-Benz and BMW workshops.
Send us the make, model and year with the expiry date from your MOT certificate. We will book the car in and arrange its test at our partner centre.
Yes, through our partner MOT centre. The car comes to our workshop, 16–19 minutes' drive from Frenaros, and we send it to the partner centre for the test. If you would like it inspected beforehand, just ask; anything that needs fixing is put to you first and repaired once you agree. If it fails on an item, we repair it and take the car back for the re-test. We take your car to its MOT for €43.
By car it is about 14 minutes from Deryneia and about 11 minutes from Sotira. You will find us at 44 Filotheis in the Paralimni industrial zone.
