Our family workshop sits in the Paralimni industrial zone, 12–13 minutes by car from Protaras. We look after cars for people who live in Protaras, Pernera and Kapparis all year and for holiday-home owners who keep a car there, and every job starts the same way: we find the fault before we quote for it.

If you keep the car at a holiday home and are not always on the island, most of the arranging can happen over WhatsApp, in English, Greek or Russian. What we find on the car reaches you as photos and short videos with a free written estimate, and no work goes ahead until you have said yes.
A car parked in the breeze off the Protaras or Kapparis shoreline slowly collects a film of salt. The salt does most harm to the parts that sit low, run hot or trap moisture: brake discs and calipers, exhaust pipes and their brackets, and the edge of an alloy rim where the tyre bead seals against it. Nothing fails overnight, so the damage tends to show up late, as a pulsing brake pedal, a blowing exhaust or a tyre that keeps losing a little pressure.
When your car is on one of our ramps, ask us to look at those parts in particular. We photograph what we see and send it to you before recommending anything, so you can judge for yourself whether a part needs replacing now or can wait. Holiday-home cars can stand for weeks between visits, and a battery left in the summer heat with nothing to charge it is often the first thing to complain. Alongside the routine work we can load-test the battery on professional equipment and confirm the alternator is charging as it should.

Our part is everything around it: we take the car to the partner centre for its test, and should it fail on anything, we fix those items and take it back for the re-test. If you would like the car inspected before the test, ask and we will do it, repairing whatever you approve from the estimate; if it is with us for a service anyway, it is inspected as part of that service.

All 12 ramps in our 700 m² workshop are in use, and with more ramps and more staff we aim to give Protaras customers a fast service. If you have booked major maintenance that keeps your car with us for longer, a courtesy car is available for that work.
The garage has been in the same family since 1976. Anninos Vrachimis, our lead diagnostic technician, holds BEng and MEng degrees in automotive engineering from Teesside and trained in Mercedes-Benz and BMW workshops. Before you drive the car home to Protaras, it is road-tested or checked on live data, then given a complimentary exterior clean.

Yes. You leave the car with us and we drive it to our partner MOT centre ourselves; if it does not pass, we repair the failure items and take it back to the centre for the re-test. If you would like it inspected before the test, just ask, and anything that would fail is fixed once you agree.
Over the years, yes, mostly for metal parts low down on the car: brake discs and calipers, exhaust pipes and brackets, and the rim edges where the tyres seal. Washing the underside now and then helps, and a look underneath on the ramp shows whether corrosion has started. We send you photos of anything we find before suggesting work.
